Leo W. Leoncini, 68, of Factoryville, died Thursday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He and his wife, the former Cynthia Renzulli, would have celebrated 24 years of marriage Sept. 19.
Born in Scranton, the son of the late Oswald and Louise Manetti Leoncini, he attended Keystone Junior College. Leo was employed at Olympic Pools in their sales department, which was a job he truly enjoyed.
An animal lover, Leo fostered and adopted many animals and would support many local animal shelters. Leo studied Tiger Kai Karate and in 2017, he was given an award for being the "Hardest Puncher of the Year." In 2020, he achieved his blue belt while studying the Kempo Goju style of karate. An accomplished musician, specializing in the guitar, Leo performed in several local bands. During his career, he played alongside a talented singer, who eventually became his wife.
A devoted and loving husband, Leo and Cindy have been together for 39 years.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his brother, Anthony and wife, Kyle, Easton, Md.; godson, Jordon; as well as aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alan.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Dear Cynthia and family, I´m so sorry to read of Leo´s passing. You both made such a beautiful, loving couple when you had your wedding reception nearly 24 years ago at Amici. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
