Leo Wilcox Obituary

Leo worked for Cone Drive in Traverse City. He was also an avid woodworker and builder and helped build several churches. He built cement blocks for a couple years and also delivered milk, and candy. For 20 years he taught Sunday school to teenagers. He was also one of the founders of the Northwest Michigan Orchid Society.
In 1944 Leo married Betty Nugent and they were married almost 75 years before her passing in 2019. Together they had 2 sons; Lorry (Janet) Wilcox and Randy Wilcox. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, half-sister Lucille(Bob) Fleming and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles Wilcox and William Wilcox, sister Doris (Wyman) Kurts, half-brothers Earl Warner and Chancy Warner.
Services will be held in the Spring at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Frankfort, and Burial will be at the Joyfield Township Cemetery. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home.
