Leo Wrasman

DELPHOS -- Leo John Wrasman, 86, of Delphos, passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Rita's surrounded by his loving family.

Leo was born in Delphos, on December 5, 1938 to the late Carl and Clara (Fischer) Wrasman. On August 18, 1962 he married Gloria A. Wieging and she passed away January 12, 2021.

Leo is survived by his children, Gerald "Jerry" Wrasman of Delphos; Carolyn (Jay) Winhover of Delphos, Janet (Roger) Homier of New Bavaria, Susan (Mike) May of Elida, Nancy (Randall) Bonifas of Venedocia and Lisa (Matt) Langhals of Columbus Grove. He is survived by his grandchildren, Nicole (Justin) Flory, Elizabeth (Jacob) Smith, Grace Homier, Alvin Homier, Adrienne (Dalton) Boroff, Andrew May, Anna (Kaden) Parker, Abigail Bonifas, Dominic Bonifas, Natalie Langhals, Keelie Langhals, Griffin Langhals and Colin Langhals, and great grandchildren, Theodore and Eloise Flory, Calen and Emersen Boroff, and Baby Parker. Surviving siblings include, Louis (Joyce) Wrasman of Kenton, Sister Carleen Wrasman, PHJC of Donaldson, Indiana, Sister Coletta Wrasman, PHJC of Donaldson, Indiana and Doris (Tom) Nichols of Vancouver, Washington. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Dennis (Diane) Wieging and sisters-in-law, Norma Jean (Bill) Maag, and Edith Wieging.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gloria and a brother, Jerome Wrasman, his father and mother-in-law, Otto and Marie Wieging, sister-in-law, Sharon (Patrick) Stechschulte, and brother- in- law, Kenneth Wieging.

Leo was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church; where he had previously been a member of their Parish Council. Leo was born and raised on the family farm, which he loved, and became the 4th generation caretaker. He planted many seeds of grain, and in his family he planted seeds of faith, hard-work, honesty, and humility. While farming he worked part-time at Fischer Plumbing and Heating, Fischer Implement and at John Vonderwell Construction. He was a board member of the Delphos Equity Elevator and the German Mutual Insurance Company. He also was a member of the Delphos Knights of Columbus #1362 and the Delphos Eagles #370. He was a member of the National Guard from 1957-1962.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth Street, Delphos, where a Parish Wake will be held at 7:45 p.m.
