Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born in Bemidji on November 30, 1941 to parents, Lloyd and Irene Youderin. Shortly after Leo was born his family moved to Duluth, where he grew up. He played basketball for Arnold School and attended Duluth Central High School. Leo loved ice fishing, especially spearing in the dark house. He also enjoyed gardening and improving his rental units. Preceded in death by his son, Kevin; parents; and sister, Barbara Wood. Leo is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia; sons, Brian, and Steve (Mamie); six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second Street, Duluth with a Visitation beginning at 10am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
