Marjorie Kay Maghan (Gilbert) Born on 09/01/1951 of Two Harbor’s passed on 03/02/2022 at her home in Florence, AZ. Marge was also a life long resident of Duluth spending time with family & friends. She was a graduate of Two Harbors high school class of 1969. She then went on to graduate from the St. Luke’s nursing program and after a short time at St. Luke’s, went to St. Mary’s and worked as a R.N. in the Surgical intensive care unit up until she was unable to due to a physical injury she’d suffered while roller skating with her children and church group at Saints roller rink. She was later able to use her skills, experience, and training in the Cardiac Registry Dept. doing data registry. She was a beloved Wife, Grandma, Mom, Sister, and friend to so many. She greatly appreciated the life long friendship her & her ex-husband Mike maintained after their divorce. She was also a lifetime member of both the Moose and Legion clubs of Two Harbors. She loved everyone she ever met and was beyond generous in sharing what she had with others especially those less fortunate. She clearly had her own struggles and demons as we all do, but believed fully in God the Son and the Holy Spirit doing the best she knew how. She has been reunited with too many whom have gone before and will be greatly missed by those of us yet to graduate this life here on earth. Funeral services will be held at Dougherty Funeral Home on 09/01/2025 at 3:30 on what will be her birthday as a way to honor and celebrate her life and all she had done and taught to so many. Burial arrangements will be determined at a later date.
