Affectionately known as Tony, was born on Tuesday, April 27, 1965 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. to Leon W. and Thelma Adams. On Friday, January 26, 2024, Tony was called to eternal rest. Tony received his early education at Saint Francis De Sales, Rhode Island Avenue, in Washington, D.C. Tony established an unbreakable bond with his friends from St. Francis de Sales that continued up to this day. He finished his education at Crossland High School in Camp Springs, Maryland. Tony was an avid reader who enjoyed learning and sharing what he learned with others.

He enjoyed a full life, rich in family and friends. He was a devoted Washington Redskins (Commanders) fan and college football enthusiast. You could find Tony and his mother from pre-season to Super Bowl watching their teams battle it out. Tony’s love for football started with his electric football game which he and his cousins and friends would play for hours. Not to mention that he played football for the Silver Hills Boys Club. Football was one of his passions. The other passion was golf. Tony enjoyed playing golf immensely. It was his go-to relaxation. Tony liked to travel. The most memorable trip taken as a family was to Jupiter, Florida with beautiful beaches, waters, and family togetherness. His family was his foundation. Tony’s career journey began as a painter in the family business. Then he pursued Property Management where he worked for over 30 years. His last employer was Trimark Corporation.

Tony was a devoted father to his only son, Dhameer A. Adams. Tony and Dhameer enjoyed spending great family time together especially during the Holidays and family events.

Tony leaves to celebrate his life and cherish precious memories, his son Dhameer (mother Grace Mayberry [Daverick]); his mother Thelma Adams; his three sisters Lisa Adams, Dione Adams, DaeTonya Scott; his six aunts Mary (Wilma) McIntosh, Susan Francis, Sharon Francis, Melba Adams, Gay Adams, Jennie Adams; nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
