Leon Farrell Barton, age 90, of Johnson, KS, died February 15, 2026, at his home in Johnson. Graveside Service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Kingman, KS with Pastor Brad Kirk officiating. Garnand Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Although I never met Keon in person, I know he was a dedicated husband and family man who loved his wife Janis dearly and deeply. He lived and cherished his family with all his heart. I met Leon through Kansa Gravestone Organization . When he joined gravestones, I helped train him. He worked tirelessly for us with his photos of cemeteries and gravestones. I and my co director Pat Murdock enjoyed knowing Leon and his devotion to Kansas Gravestones. He and I shared many emails to each other. Heaven has gained a wonderful person and we have lost a wonderful friend. God bless you all in this time of sorrow . My prayers and thoughts are with you always.
