Leon Brown Obituary

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Pinewood Memorial Park.
A farmer, welder, beekeeper, deacon, volunteer fire chief, and the best husband, daddy, papa, uncle, brother, and neighbor. He always helped anyone in need. He was kind and generous. He loved telling stories, and playing practical jokes. He loved being on his lawn mower and boating on the Pamlico river.
Preceding him in death, his wife Edith and his son Len.
He is survived by his daughter Marsha; grandsons, Glenn and his wife, Michelle, Kevin and his wife, Kristin; great grandchildren Jayden and his wife, Maci, Maleah and her husband Alex, Carson, Kinley, Cameron, Caymin and Gareth.
Special thanks to James and Wanda Warren, Wanda Dixon, and Myrtle Carney for their kindness and generosity. There are no words to express my gratitude for the caregivers who went above and beyond to make sure my daddy was comfortable and happy.
