Leon D. Chapman, 88, passed away March 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Oretta Chapman; son, Rocky Chapman; wife, Virgie; brothers, Eugene, James, Robert, Sherman; sister, Irene; step-daughter; Janice; granddaughter, Nicki. Leon is survived by daughter, Cheryl (Kenneth) White; stepchildren, Larry, Steve, and Patricia; brothers, Bill and Leo; sisters, Sally and Sherley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Leon worked at Prestress and worked for over thirty years at Reliance. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching tv, especially NASCAR. He firmly believed in the Lord.
Visitation will take place Monday, March 17, 2025 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH where a Funeral Service will follow immediately at 12:30pm. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
