Leon Vechet Heng

Leon Vechet Heng, age 27, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was born on August 2, 1996, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Ronald "Ron" and Helen "Sina" Heng. He was a 2016 graduate of Mountain View High School. Leon was a very hard-driven young man. He was studying to be an aesthetician while doing several jobs, ranging from working as a nail technician to becoming a front desk concierge at a medical spa, and doing facials on the side.
Leon was genuinely the rock of the family. He constantly wanted better for everyone and would be the one to pull us together and to remind us that "family" is all we have. Leon was one of a kind. He had the uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He loved capturing memories on his phone and being the tech guy with the latest Apple devices. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces, making sure he was there for his friends and family without having to ask. "We can figure anything out if we start by trying," Leon said. There are many things we can say about him because that is how much of an impact he has left on us. Leon will forever be in our hearts, missed and loved. Until we meet again. May your soul rest in peace.
