Leon Kitts Obituary
Morris Leon Kitts, age 88, of Maryville, TN, passed from this life on July 17,2025. He was a highly successful entrepreneur, selling automobiles in his early years and later as the operator/owner of Rite Stop Markets, along side his wife Mary. He loved buying, restoring and trading antique cars all his life.
He is survived by his loving and beloved wife Mary Gentry Kitts; daughters Debi Tindall (Gerald), Terri Rose (Pat), Stepson Randy Coulter (Shari); grandchildren Shaun Boling (Janelle), Kayla Dantzler (Dale), Adam Rose (Courtney), Nick Rose, April Lewellyn (Will), Clint Coulter and Chad Coulter, and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Viewing will be at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Maryville, TN on Saturday, July 26,2025 any time between 9 am and 2 pm. A Celebration of Life will be in the Life Event Center behind Smith Funeral Home from 12 noon until 2 pm. Family and friends will depart the funeral home at 2:30 pm on July 26,2025 to assemble at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for entombment at 3:00 pm.
