Leon Raynard Page was born to Pearl (McClellan) and Louis Page in the family farm home on August 18th 1942. He passed away on December 11th 2025.
He was raised on the farm with his siblings Larry and Luaine until entering high school in Curtis, NE where he graduated in 1960. He volunteered for the US Navy and served during the Vietnam conflict learning the electronics technician trade in the process. Shortly after discharging honorably he met his future wife Helen Jacobsen. They married in October of 1968. They lived in York, NE briefly where they welcomed daughter Stacy in 1969 and moved to Lincoln, NE shortly thereafter. In 1972, a son, Brent Page was born to them. They moved to Waverly, NE in 1976 where they lived their remaining years. Leon worked as an electronics technician at Isco from 1968 until retirement.
Leon was an avid gardener known for his beautiful gardens complete with grapevine arbors and straw paths. Soon after retirement along with his wife Helen they embarked in starting an orchard and store, Page's Produce near Valparaiso, Ne where they employed many local teens.
Leon is survived by his daughter, Stacy Ferguson (Jason), son Brent Page (Latonia), grandchildren Drew Ferguson, Joseph Ferguson, Elijah Page, Georgia Page and Judah Page, sisters in law Irene Mason, Margaret Kendall, Evelyn Winnegar along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen by three months, his parents, Louis and Pearl Page, brother Larry Page (wife Irene), sister Luaine Harper and her husband Leonard Harper, parents in law Thorvald and Alice Jacobsen, nephews, Bill Campbell, Steve Jacobsen, Derek Jacobsen; niece Sherry Harper.
Memorial service for Leon Page and Helen Page will be held at Blase-Strauser Chapel at 11AM, Tuesday, December 30th followed by burial at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.
