Obituary of Leona M. Holyk

Leona M. Holyk (nee Hendrickson), age 64 of Cherry Hill, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on August 27, 2025 at Samaritan Hospice in Voorhees, New Jersey. She was born on June 17, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Roy and Shirley (nee Allen) Hendrickson.

Beloved wife of 44 years to the late Walt; Dear sister of Sharon (John) Cannon and the late Kathleen, Gregory (Nicole) and Douglas Hendrickson and sister in law of Bobby Monafusco; Cherished aunt of Todd Goldberg, Tara Tait and Patrick Cannon. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Leona worked as an agent with American Airlines in Philadelphia. She was extremely creative with arts & crafts, loved going on cruises with her late husband Walt. bowling, playing Bingo and Phillies baseball.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.

If desired, please consider making memorial donations in her name to Samaritan Hospice, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425.
