Obituary of Luis Alfredo Toro Acosta

Luis A. Acosta, 87 of Camden, N.J., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday August 24, 2025.

Luis enjoyed spending his time watching and journaling stats of the Phillies games, it was his passion that he always loved to do, whether they won or lost.

He spent each day reading his Bible and took pride in the fact that he read it in its entirety, cover-to-cover, many, many times. Luis was an active member of his church and always devoted to the Lord.

Luis is survived by his two children, Ruth E. (Roger) Guenther of Waterford Twp., N.J., Louis A. Acosta of Phoenix, A.Z., and granddaughter Shahna M.
