Leonard Austin Obituary

Lenny Austin, 64, of Calhoun County, passed away on July 29, 2025. Born and raised in Calhoun County, Lenny was known for his tireless work ethic and energetic spirit-a man who rarely sat still. He took great pride in his work and spent many years at the Magic Tunnel Car Wash, where he worked for his mother, Hazel Ford, and stepfather, Bobby Ford. Whether at his job or lending a hand to someone in need, Lenny was always ready to help.
He is survived by his children, Shanda Lynn Austin (Jackie) and Brandin Austin; grandchildren, Irelyn Dopson (Grayson) and Jacquelyn Stovall; and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Emersyn, and Maren. He is also survived by his siblings: Marlene Trawinski (Joseph), Phillip Austin, Leroy Austin (Mandi), and Keith Austin. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hazel Ford and Leroy Austin.
