Leonard "Leroy" Lewis Brown, 72, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on January 2, 2026.
Leroy was born on June 23, 1953, to the late Charlie and Nellie Brown. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, cutting grass, planting flowers, and spending time outdoors. Known for his goofy personality, Leroy loved making others laugh and cherished every moment spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nellie Brown; and his siblings, Sonny Brown, Eugene R. Brown, Kirk T. Brown, Jerra Dell Johnson, Jessie J. Napier, Donnie Brown, Bonnie Collins, Beverly Kerns, Linda Brown, and Terry Brown.
Leroy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dora Brown; his children, Amanda (Ashley) Moser, Leonard Brown Jr., and Daniel (Heidi) Faul; and his siblings, Colleen (Timmy) German, Rhonda Witt, and Ardeana Noel. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Courtney (Kyle) Fuller, Gabby, Cody, Maddox, Brylee, Addy, and Jaylen; and his great-grandchildren, Luxley, Hawkson, Rookley, Ka'nyiah.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
