I haven't been around Uncle Leonard for a long time, one of my favorite memories of him was when I had my first baby, he came to the house and took her in his arms and unwrapped her and started to count her toes and fingers and said that he had to make sure that she had all her toes and fingers, and then he made sure to check her ears and the rest of her,
I remember going to Uncle Leonard's house when I was young and we would always play on the paddle cars that he had. Even though we wasn't really close I do have some good memories of him.
My condolences got out to the kids and everyone else, I'll keep you all in my prayers

I met Leonard at Pat Salmon & Sons a little over 10 years ago he was my trainer, he told me to get behind the wheel, as I proceeded to climb in the truck I noticed the seat wasn´t much more than just springs and the dash I couldn´t believe what I was looking at but it was held together with duck tape. Leonard told me to go ahead n start the truck and not to push to hard on the break peddle because it would go all the way to the floor n would take to long to come back up. I just thought oh my what have I got myself into (a death trap). Leonard then told me to put the truck into gear n slowly take off (I was really nervous after driving this truck n being a female with this strangle man n I had no clue of who he was). We finally took off and Leonard started talking to me a little bit and I started to calm down some, we were getting on the interstate and began to build up speed but as we reach about 45 mph I just about lost everything I just wanted to stop that truck and get out, the whole front of that truck started wobbling and Lenard just told me keep going you´ll be ok you´ll get use to it. Believe it or not I returned the next day even though Leonard didn´t think I would but I rode around with him in his truck back and fourth to Springdale. I haven´t seen Leonard in a long time and was saddened to hear that he passed away. Heaven is getting one heck of a guy .
