Leonard "Lenny" Anthony Immormino, 83, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at St. John's Westshore Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland to Giuseppe and Rose Immormino, Lenny was the youngest of six children and the last surviving. A proud graduate of West Tech High School, Class of 1960, he later served in the National Guard. Lenny built a long career as a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 38 and, true to his adventurous spirit, pursued many other ventures over the years-including lighting, sales, scrap metal, and real estate. Whatever the field, he brought skill, creativity, and determination, always excelling at whatever he set his mind to.
This year, Lenny and his beloved wife, Mary Louise, joyfully celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Together, they built a family and a life full of love and laughter. He spent his last day doing what they loved-dancing with Mary Louise.
Lenny will be remembered for being the life of the party. He told so many jokes, had a quick wit, a gift for storytelling, and the uncanny ability to make anyone laugh. His kindness, generosity, and endless willingness to help others defined him. Known as a problem-solving "jack of all trades," he could fix anything-and more importantly, he made every person he met feel like family. He was never afraid to take a risk in business or in life. Throughout the many trials and tribulations of Lenny's life, he constantly made light of every moment, full of life, laughter, and endless perseverance and determination. His stories will live on as cherished family folklore
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 11:00am at St. John Neumann Church, 16271 Pearl Road, Strongsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warriors Project in Lenny's memory.
