I am so sorry for your loss. I remember him as my principal at Windsor Central School . And later in his life after his wife passed ( which she was a teacher in our school as well ) that I got a call to see if I´d clean for him . I really got to know more about him -than the feared principal . He liked to build things and was handy at it . I will miss him as I had missed our talks . He his now with his beloved wife which he missed dearly .

Every time I went back to Suski in the summer to help out Mom for a couple of weeks. I would always stop in say Hi to Mr. Kello. I had known him all through my school years and he was always a larger than life person to me. I would always send him the latest CD of the UF Jazz Band or other CDs and he would always complain that the Susquehanna Transcript would never put in an article about my musical accomplishments. All they put in was news about former students who were involved in sports. I remember like it was yesterday that I took coffee to the workers who were building his new brick house. It was a cold day and snowing. Something that happend A LOT back in the day. I think it was Mr. Prentiss that was doing the masonry work. My sister Marcia and I could give you a LONG list of the people in that small town that were important both musically and otherwise, to our childhood Many of whom have passed away . Very sad but so many incredible memories. A time that is long past and will never return that's for sure. We were lucky to have lived there and in that time. I hope to make one last trip before my time is up and visit my childhood memories. It will be different with Mt. Kello two houses down from where we grew up not being there. RIP Mr. Kello
I hope to make one last trip before I go to that bandstand up in the sky and

Many happy memories of Mr. Kello and years together with Chorus /Operettas and even coaching the Girls Basketball team in his early years at Laurel St School. When they first came to town he and Mary Rose lived upstairs over what was then Freddy´s Market. They then built the brick house on the empty lot on Jackson Avenue between Tiffanys and Griffisses.
