George Kello Obituary
Left behind are his loving wife of 40 years, Dorothy Watts Kello, son Sam Kello, daughter Angela Kello Tamura (Hiro), and was affectionately known as Pops to granddaughters Lily and Zoe Tamura.
George was an award winning artist (Boardwalk Art Show, Ghent Arts Festival), civic minded Artist Provocateur, a philosopher, a former radio DJ, and lover of travel and baseball. He was active in the local community league. He coached Sam's Little League and basketball teams. If you lived in Norfolk in the 1990s perhaps you saw him driving around town in his whacky shark-fin station wagon. He was in the process of helping plan a mural for the Little Theatre of Norfolk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to Little Theatre of Norfolk (https://ltnonline.org/) Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.hdoliver.com

I've heard that you aren't truly gone while you still live in memory. George will live on in my memory until I exit the planet. Anyone who knew him would agree that he left his mark for generations to come. He lives on in his progeny, his art and his activism. Still love you, George.

I have one memory that I will never forget about cousin George at my Grandparents house. He was driving his Volkswagen that he had painted with all the peace signs and flowers on it. He parked around on the backside of their house saying he didn´t want to embarrass them. It was there 50th wedding anniversary.I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIS VOLKSWAGEN!!! RIP COUSIN GEORGE!!! I will always remember you!
