Leonard P. Kellogg, 90 1/2 yrs young, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on December 17, 2023, surrounded by his children. He is survived by his second wife, Roxanne Kellogg. His children from wife Nancy (1934-1989), Paul and his wife Norma Kellogg of Jackson, TN, Jim and his wife Donna Kellogg of Dadeville, AL, Lori and her husband Daron Jacobs of Pembroke, MA, and Lisa and her husband Robert Richard of Duxbury, MA. He also leaves behind his eight grandchildren, Jamie, Jason, Shaun, PJ, Charlie, Kelly, Kyle, and Ryan and eight great-grandchildren, Brady, Jaden, Landon, Alice, Vera, Mateo, River, and Wyatt, all who he was so proud of and loved dearly. He was so happy to be able to enjoy being with his entire family in June 2023. He can now watch over them and his two additional great-grandchildren, Lennon (named after her great-grandpa) and Otis.
Dad was a native of Worcester, MA and graduated from Worcester Commerce High School. He was a Navy veteran. His career as a salesman led him on many adventures where he was always making lasting friends. If you weren't careful, he could sweet talk you into anything. Dad was also proud of his swimming accomplishments. He was an avid swimmer in high school and continued swimming, participating in the Senior Olympics, medaling well into his 80's. He enjoyed golfing and getting together with his buddies.
He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa as well as a friend to many. He left quite the legacy and will be missed dearly.
