Leonard Lemke Obituary

He was born June 8, 1930 son of the late Leonard L. and Ruth (Henning) Lemke. On October 9, 1954 he married the former Ann Smith at Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo and the couple celebrated over 66 years of marriage, Ann preceded in him death in 2021. Leonard was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover.
He is survived by his children, Janet (John) Krzych of Suamico, Bradley (Jodie) of Green Bay, Charles, Matthew (Ronda), Joanne (Dan) Johnston, Jeffrey (Sue), Daniel (Mary), and Christopher (Judy) all of Peshtigo; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Rolland, a sister-in-law, Sharon Kamps ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Along with his parents and wife Ann, Leonard was preceded in death by a son, Thomas S. Lemke; a sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Russell Schonfeld,, brother-in-law, Harvey Kamps, and a sister-in-law Ida (Gove) Lemke
Family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, July 18, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover from 9:00 am until time of memorial services at 11:00 am with Pastor Daniel Sargent officiating.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
