Leonard Caulion Peacock was born on September 17, 1940, to the late General Lee Peacock and Edna Grey Peacock. He graduated from Dodge County High School in 1959. L.C. and Brenda Hubbard married in 1959, and God blessed them with 66 wonderful years together.
L.C. worked at Dunn's Department Store for over 20 years before opening his own business, Peacock's Mens Wear. He was a member of Dublin First Church of the Nazarene, where he was a member of the board and choir director for many years. He was a proud member of the Dublin Civitan Club. L.C. loved his family and his church. He also had a love for music. He cherished his time singing in quartets and playing his piano.
L.C. is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Benjie Peacock; brother, Harvard Peacock, and his sister, Ruby Dennis.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Brenda Peacock of Dublin; his children, Mike Peacock, Michelle Barlow, and Debbie Peacock; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and a brother, Raford Peacock.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Don Hicks and Rev. Mike Peacock will officiate.
L.C.'s family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
Darin Keen, Marcus Clements, Stan Sheppard, Casey Peacock, Justin Peacock, Alan Hubbard, Ryan Peacock and Brad Poucher will serve as pallbearers. The Terry Soles Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
