Leonard Provost, 62, of Wagner

Leonard died Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in Wagner. Burial will be in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, Greenwood. Wake services will be 7 PM Tuesday, February 3 and Wednesday, February 4 at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, Wagner.

Leonard Dean Provost "Skin" was born January 12, 1964 at PHS in Wagner, SD to Violet Ashes and Clayton Provost. Leonard attended Marty Indian School and was always creative which lead him to create many beautiful pieces of beadwork.

He was passionate about a lot of things but his most important role was helping people, working on cars, or going hunting with his nephews and friends. He loved spending time with family and friends most importantly loved to share a good laugh.

Leonard is preceded in death by his father Clayton Provost, his brother Elvis Provost, his sisters Kristi Selwyn and Beverly Provost, and his nephew Tyler Provost. He is survived by his mother Violet Provost, his uncle Alvin Provost, his auntie Janice Provost, his brothers Verlyn Provost, Dorlan Provost, and Mahlon Provost, his sister Clarice Zephier, Kimberlee Selwyn, and Kelly Selwyn. And all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Leonard will be greatly missed by everyone.
