Leonard Clinton "Clint" Ragsdale, age 77, of Waverly, TN, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Friday, August 15, 2025. He was born in Waverly, TN on April 28, 1948, to the late Thelma Mae Beecham Ragsdale and Leonard Lee Marvin Ragsdale. Clint was a proud Vietnam War veteran who served his country with honor. He was a man of God and known for his compassionate heart and patient nature. He loved tending to his garden, he was an avid reader, loved history & enjoyed his favorite Western shows. Above all of Clint's hobbies, his love for his family, specifically his grandchildren was unwavering. Clint will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Treasa Ragsdale of Waverly, TN; daughters, Sabrina Burkett (Corey) of Waverly, TN and Cheryl Woodside (Kevin) of Waverly, TN; grandchildren, Justin Burkett, Lauren Burkett, Kyle Burkett, and Sara Burkett; siblings, Faye Mulliniks (Wilson) of Waverly, TN, Eddie Ragsdale (Carolyn) of Waverly, TN, Debbie Owens (John) of Scottsboro, AL, Kay Curtis of Waverly, TN, and Letha Page (John) of Waverly, TN. Clint is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Clint is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Gary Curtis.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Richlawn Cemetery with military honors and Bro. Chester Harrison Officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
