Leonard J. Ranieri passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2024. Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Viola Ranieri (Rossi). Beloved husband of thirty years to Janice Ranieri (Crusco). Predeceased by his late wife Marie Ranieri (Berganya). Devoted father of Lenard Ranieri (Kelly), John Gallo (Nicole), Jenna Coccia (Andrew) and Nicholas Ranieri (Devon). Dear brother of Frank Ranieri. Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Carter, Jack, Lincoln, Tessa, and Andrew. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in law, Linda Crusco, Joann and Louis Milorey, Jean and Tom Harfman, and many nieces and nephews.
Len retired from the Philadelphia School District after 35 years of service as the Director of Information Technology. For the last 20 years, he enjoyed working as a system analyst for the Township of Voorhees. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the United States Army.
Many memorable summers were spent with his family and friends at the shore in Margate, New Jersey. Len was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed attending their sporting events and cheering them on as their number one fan. Most of all, Len loved sharing his life together with his wife by traveling, going to dinners, attending the theater, and sharing his love of music.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 9:45AM to 11:30AM at Saint Simon Stock Parish, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ. His funeral Mass will follow at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in St Joseph's Cemetery, 240 Lower Landing Road, Blackwood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Len's memory can be made to the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation. Arrangements under the direction of COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, BERLIN NJ.
