Leonard Henry Scheidt

Leonard Henry Scheidt, age 76, of Bowling Green passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. He was born on September 3. 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Henry Albert and Queenie Laura Scheidt. Leonard served in the United States Army. He worked for over 41 years for Warren Rural Electric. Leonard will be remembered for his smile. His many hobbies include Classic Cars, especially Corvettes and his C10 Chevy Short Bed Red Truck.

Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara M. Scheidt; his daughter, Laura Marie Scheidt-Thomas and her husband Michael of Miami, Florida; a brother: George James "Jim" Scheidt and his wife Joyce of Rockfield, Kentucky; his sister-in-law, Karen Matlock of Auburn, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00am at the New Friendship Baptist Church at 5030 Friendship Road, Auburn, Kentucky 42206. Visitation will be held at the J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel on Broadway in Bowling Green on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
