Leonard Sharon Obituary

Leonard "Len" Sharon, 78-year-old resident of Randall, MN, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service is being planned in the spring of 2026. Caring for Len and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.

Len Sharon was born on April 2, 1947 - just narrowly dodging April Fools' Day, though anyone who knew him might say he spent his life keeping a bit of that playful spirit anyway. He found his calling as a social worker in a nursing home, where he gave dignity, compassion, and laughter to people who needed all three. But Len's life stretched far beyond his work. He was a self-taught musician who could play a dulcimer, fiddle, or mandolin like it was second nature. He was a master basket weaver, grew raspberries, and canned pickles so good that store-bought versions became an insult in comparison.

Len was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cousin. He was funny without trying, kind without limits, and lived an offbeat life that he loved. He was a gift to all who knew him. The world feels quieter without him, but the memories - the music, the gardens, the laughter - are loud enough to keep him with us.
