Leonard Vásquez Sr

Leonard Vásquez Senior born on February 25, 1957, passed away on January 27, 2026. Leonard was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man who deeply valued his friends and family.

Leonard shared a lifelong love with his beloved wife, Frances Vásquez, with whom he had been by his side since the summer of sixth grade. Their enduring bond was a testament to love, commitment, and partnership, forming the foundation of the family they built together.

Leonard was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent 16 years employed at Sierra Bag, where he was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, and dependability.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Vásquez; his two children, Leonard Vásquez Jr. and Frances Christie Vásquez; and his son-in-law, Alfred Figueroa Jr. Leonard was a proud and loving grandfather to his grandchildren. He is survived by six granddaughters-Monique Romero, Charisma Cervantes, Chyanne Figueroa, Nevaeh Lopez, Serenity Romero, and Melanie Romero-and five grandsons-Isiah Figueroa, Genesis Dabbs, Marco Romero, Jovon Dabbs, and Randy De La Corte- all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

He was a cherished brother to three sisters and seven brothers.

He is now reunited in peace with his parents Jennie and Albert Vásquez, who welcomed him home.

Leonard will be remembered for his strength, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, cherished memories, and values that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved.
