Leonard Carl "Lee" Winters

Leonard Carl "Lee" Winters, 63-year-old Vinita resident, passed away late Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Heartsworth Nursing Center. He was born on March 11, 1962, in Corning, California to Edward Carl Winters and Leila (Garner) Winters. Lee grew up and graduated high school in Crescent City, California. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1981-1984. Lee worked as an over the road truck driver for many years until his health forced him into early retirement. He was married to Tracey Michelle (Fillman) on February 1, 1985, she preceded him in death on July 8, 2021.
Also preceding him in death was a brother, Raymond in 1968, grandson, Stetson Winters, and his father Edward Carl Winters.
The family includes his mother, Leila Giles of Winterset, Iowa; his son, Leonard "LJ" Winters of Tulsa; daughter, Krystal Winters of Oregon; five grandchildren, Kooper, Jazmyne, Ameliah, Kristoff, and Sawyer; special friends, Paul and Sherryl Morris of Vinita.
