In loving Memory of Leroy “Lee, Bud, Jr.” Lundy
Leroy passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 3rd, 2025. He was born October 4th, 1961, in Denver Colorado.
Leroy was a man capable of deep love, strength and a great sense of humor. His presence touched all that knew him. He embraced his cancer with a positive attitude even towards the very end of his life, he was incredibly brave and his main concern as always was his wife and family he would leave behind. Leroy’s life was one filled with laughter, love and the simple joys of being surrounded by family. His legacy will live on through the love of his family, the laughter he inspired, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Leroy was a caring man who loved people, if you were having a bad day, he would make it his mission to get you smiling and laughing. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan; he loved watching their games and rooting for his team. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending summers camping and enjoying being on the rivers and lakes. He enjoyed working on special projects to make life easier. Leroy always was a hard worker both at home and at work. Leroy spent years working in the restaurant business as a Sous Chef, Chef and Manager. Shortly before his retirement he worked for a few years doing what he enjoyed, helping people. He was a medical transport driver for those that needed assistance the most. When he was younger, he also served in the Army-National Guard in both Oregon and Colorado.
Though gone too soon his spirit lives on in the hearts of those that cherished him most.
Leroy was preceded in death by his beloved Mother Shirley and Father Leroy Lundy, Sr., his sisters Teresa and Victoria. Leroy leaves behind his wife 0f 34 years, soul mate and best friend Suzette, who stood faithfully by his side, his son Jason and his grandson Tyler who brought him endless joy. He is survived by his sisters Sharon Waidman (Tom), Karen, his brother Corey, Chuck, Tammy in laws, and several Nieces and nephews. All of them will carry forward the bond of family and memories they shared together. To honor his memory the family will have a casual celebration of his life to celebrate the warmth, loyalty, and love he gave so freely, sharing stories, laughter, and of course Mexican food his favorite.
