Leroy Webb Obituary
Mr. Webb was born in Charleston, WV on October 12, 1940 to Hobart Leroy and Cleo Wolfe Webb and was a graduate of East Bank High School. Leroy served his country in the U.S. Air Force and following his service, went to work at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, WV
He was a volunteer for the Community Center in Arbovale. Leroy then moved to Greensboro, NC in 1974 where he went to work at Lorillard Tobacco Company retiring as a Senior Electronics Instrumentation Specialist. Leroy was the former President of the Lions Club in Greensboro, NC. He loved to fish.
In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Jenny Ryalls Webb and granddaughter Kailey Suzanne Benton.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Henderson (Michael) of Trinity, NC son, David Lee Webb (Althea) of Randleman, NC and grandson, Christian Grant Henderson.
Due to the weather, services for Leroy have been canceled and will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.

I am sorry to learn of Leroy (Sandy) Webb's passing. I am his cousin, Judy Cunningham, and have been trying to locate him since he called me many months age. Somehow his phone number was lost. I didn't know whether he moved to North Carolina or was still somewhere in West Virginia. My husband tried again a few days ago and found Sandy's funeral notice. What a shock! I still live in Chester, Virginia.
