Leslie Edwards

Leslie Edwards, age 58, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer.

Leslie was known for her fierce love for family and friends and the kindness she showed to everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time with the people she loved most, cooking, shopping, traveling, and making frequent trips to North Carolina. Leslie faced her illness with courage and strength while remaining devoted to the people who meant the most to her.

Leslie was well respected in the insurance industry, where she dedicated more than 40 years of her life to her work and the relationships she built along the way.

She is survived by her daughters, Allie (Zach) Dunn and Anna (Brody) Bailey; her beloved grandson, Bridger Dunn; her sisters, Rosemary (Mike) Compton and Melissa Ponder; her brother, Thomas (Jennifer) Daniel; her mother-in-law, Carolyn Edwards; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who loved her dearly; her dear friend, Lisa Hansford; and Allison Hansford, who was like a daughter to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Mary Ann Daniel.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, at Adams Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Missionary Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zach Dunn, Brody Bailey, Collin Compton, Matt Daniel, John Daniel, and Hunter Baldwin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Hansford, Austin Hansford, and Omar Cervantes Gutierrez.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Marshall Cancer Care Center, where Leslie received compassionate care from an incredible team of doctors and nurses. Donations may be made at:
