Walter "Darrell" Stone

Walter "Darrell" Stone, age 63, passed away on March 4, 2026, at Common Spirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Darrell was born July 3, 1962, in Arizona to the late Walter Leroy Stone and Margaret Ann Banks Stone. He worked in recycling and was known as a hardworking man who loved his family deeply. Darrell cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Delania Lynn Greer Stone; children, Adam Stone (Brantley), Anthony Stone (Melissa), Billy Stone Jr. (Jill), and Nicole Jones (Rickie); grandchildren, Brooklyn Stone, Karmen Stone, Kaylee Stone, Sierra Evans, Wesley Stone, Jeremiah Stone, Drake Stone, MerSaydes Stone, Megan Stone, Makenzie Stone, Billy W. Stone III, Cody O'Dell, Stanley Shake, Zack Shake, Gracie Croghan, Aiden Portwood, and Ian Kilgore; great-grandchildren, Dallas Stone, Harper Stone, Elliana Stone, Genesis Stone, Braylynn Tucker, Rae-Lee Stone, and Kiana Evans; siblings, Billy Stone Sr., Mechele Bearden, Darlene Williamson, Terry Stone, and Kenya Stone; and a host of chosen grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Adams Brown Service Chapel. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be Todd Anderson, Eric Anderson, Cody O'Dell, Cody Whidby, Drake Stone, and Wesley Stone. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.
