Leslie Ann Furlow

Leslie Ann Furlow (Zemblowski) passed away August 26, 2024 at Saint Elizabeth hospital. She passed peacefully with her husband and children by her side.
Leslie was born to Earl and Nancy Furlow on November 11, 1959. She was the oldest of 3 children. She attended Appleton West High school and went on to the University of Oshkosh where she received her bachelor's degree in journalism. During her college years she met the love of her life, Paul Zemblowski. They were married on September 18, 1982. They then had three children together; Blair, Chloe, and Grant.
She was a devoted mother, aunt, and grandmother. Always took care of everyone. Truly a selfless person that put everyone first. Many of her children's friends referred to Leslie as a second mom because of how welcoming she was and how easy she was to talk to. Leslie was always there to help anyone in need. She welcomed friends into her home with open arms. The famous "Leslie Popcorn" could solve any problem. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Leslie knew that she had heart of gold. A beautiful Soul who was loved by many.
One of her favorite things to do was spend time with her family up north. She was always one for the classic "camping" meals. Pudgy Pies were a must. Oh, and of course the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. Leslie also loved to host holidays. She and Paul hosted every Holiday in their home for many years. It made her happy having a house full of loved ones. Many traditions in the family are thanks to her. Keeping traditions alive was important to her. Her grandson Daxton was a special part of her life and Leslie cherished her time she had with him. Family was everything to her.
Leslie is survived by her mother; Husband of almost 42 years, Paul Zemblowski; Children, Chloe Zemblowski (Danny Vicchiollo) and Grant Zemblowski; Grandson Daxton Vicchiollo; Father-in-law; Brothers (Kelly & James); Nieces (Courtney & Brittney). She is preceded in death by her father; Mother-in-law; and her eldest son Blair Zemblowski. It gives us comfort to know Leslie is with her son Blair again, watching over the rest of the family.
Friends and Family asked to gather on September 6, 2024 at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton for a visitation 9am-11am and a service to follow at 11am, with a lunch afterwards.
