Leslie J. McGrath

Leslie Jane McGrath, 54, of South Yarmouth passed away peacefully in her home on April 24th, surrounded by her loving family.
Leslie was born on Cape Cod to Lawrence and Barbara McGrath on December 13th, 1967. She went to Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School and graduated in 1985. She was the Owner of Dream Studios, a school for the performing arts in South Yarmouth. For over 13 years, Leslie, through her own passion and determination, fostered a creative environment that inspired children to realize their full potential and become positive influences in their community.
Leslie is survived by her two children, Olivia (25) and Sawyer (22) Adamaitis, whom she loved wholly and completely, without measure, and their cats, Wallaby and Plum. She is also survived by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and countless friends she loved as much as family.
She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara, and there is no doubt the two of them are reunited and laughing together.
Leslie was loved by so many for her positivity, strength, compassion, sense of humor, and her unwavering gratitude. She will be dearly missed.
Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 1st in the Morris O'Connor Chapel, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 2nd in Saint Pius X Church, 5 Barbara St., South Yarmouth, followed by interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, South Yarmouth. The family welcomes everyone who wishes to attend all services.
