Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Leslie James Nash, 48, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial to follow the service at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Robert Beadle.
Leslie was born June 19, 1974, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Herman Nash and Laura Coulter Nash. He passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, after a seven-month battle with cancer at Pilgrim Manor.
Leslie worked at the Bossier Parish Highway Department and loved his job. He absolutely adored his dog, Piper. Leslie was a precious and loving son and is going to be greatly missed.
Leslie is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Honoring Leslie as pallbearers will be David Eakin, Steve Marshall, Harvey Nash, Jesse Nash, Lanny Wylie, and Mark Wylie. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Leslie's co-workers at Bossier Parish Highway Department.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3100 Samford Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103.
