Leslie Allen Sisson, Sr., 60 of Bossier City, Louisiana passed peacefully on November 26th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Sisson will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Walton Cemetery with Mr. Jimmy Gould and Dana Hicks officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. An optional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Noon Saturday at Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas.
"Bull" as he was affectionally known, was born August 9th, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was one of four children born to the marriage of Frank Gather Sisson and Marie Allene Rabalais. He was raised and schooled in Shreveport where he was a graduate of Woodlawn High School class of 1981.
Mr. Sisson had an extensive career in restaurant management, most of which he spent with Ralph & Kacoo's Seafood Restaurant. He was a lively and loyal friend, a captivating storyteller, and a mentor to many. Mr. Sisson was a die-hard Cowboys fan, loved playing pool and adored his dog, DeOgee. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Kayla Frazier.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Leslie Sisson Jr., of Bossier, Nicole Sisson of Denton, Demi Sisson of Frisco; sisters, Dana Hicks and husband, Mike of Shreveport; and Nelda Neal of Elysian Fields, brother-in-law, Don Frazier of Monroe; mother of his children, Carey Sisson of Denton; grandchild, Raylee Sisson and his grand-dogs, Sadie, Bear and Stella; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

its been a year papaw. i miss you so much, i you cant see nor watch me grow up. it hurts, i wrote about you at school and i cried so much. i love you and i miss you.
