Lester Christopher Jack was born on September 28, 1982 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lester Jack, Sr. and Joyce White Butterfly. Lester made his journey to the Spirit World on August 10, 2025 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Lester is survived by his children, Lester Jack III (Amirra), Rosestarcia and Siouxtera Jack of Denver, CO; siblings, Kimimila Jack, Jesse, Gene, Benjamin, Charles (Mercedes) Jack, Lyle (Haroldine), Lavern, and Yamni (Taren) Jack; nephews, Connor and Colbert Richards, Jr., Laramie Good Voice Flute, Ian and Luke Richards, Michael, Jordan, Lyle, Jr., Kevin, Patrick, Raymond, Kaedom, Christian, Leonard IV, Kellen and Kaeson Jack; nieces, Chloe and Coryn Richards, Maliyah and Mckenzie Catches, Alice, Tashina, Michelle, Nadia and Kaelyn Jack; Aunt-moms, Karen White Butterfly and Yvonne Chase In Winter; uncle, Donovan Chase; cousin-brothers, Lance, Stephen, Jeremy and Craig Chase, Casey Red Cloud, Ryan and Richard Charging Cloud; sister-cousins, Julie White Butterfly, Jessica Chase, Frances Stands.
