Lester (Les) Lee Perine, Sr., age 62, of Manheim, passed away on March 7, 2025 at UPMC Lititz. Born in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lester E. Perine and Marlene A. (Wood) Perine.
A hardworking man by nature, he spent much of his career as a Quality Control Technician for Primo Water and wore that title proudly.
In his spare time, Lester enjoyed cleaning, rooting for his Cleveland Browns and his Massillon Tigers (his alma mater high school team), fishing, listening to music and long drives. In his younger years, he was an avid weight lifter.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary (Kathie) Perine; a son, Shane Perine; a daughter, Kassandra Elward and a special family friend, Tamara Perine. Also surviving are his sister Kathleen Brandon (Perine) of Tennessee; brothers Richard Perine and Daniel Smith (Perine) of Ohio; Donald Wirth (Perine)of Idaho as well as many grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sarah Perine as well as two brothers, Larry Burns (Perine) and Melvin Boehem (Perine) of Ohio.
