Leta Thomas, 98, of Victoria, Texas, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, in Victoria. Leta was born August 8, 1927, in Harlingen, Texas, to the late Homer Franklin Adams and Irma Elizabeth Johnson.
Leta had a deep love for the Lord Jesus. Her biggest wish was for every member of her family to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Family was her top priority on earth, and one of her passions was her vast collection of nativities. She enjoyed crafting with her hands. Leta was a seamstress, a gardener, and an amateur florist. Her collection featured bird cages, butterflies, and various flowers, including blue bonnets. Her 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren affectionately called her "Mawmaw."
To cherish her memory, Leta is survived by her daughters, Charlette Flowers and Tricia Norman; grandchildren, Shannon Flowers, Clif Flowers, Mandee Frausto, Tina Revels, April Drury, David Brooks, Brenna Ferrell, BT Norman; great-grandchildren, Taylor Flowers, Jamee Flowers, Destiny Flowers, Justin Flowers, Jake Flowers, Hannah Flowers, Miranda Frausto, Alyssa Frausto, Cobe Frausto, Austin Revels, Morgan Russell, Craig Revels, Christian Smith, Andrew Wingenroth, Chase Drury, Jillian Acosta, Ryleigh Brooks, Fisher Brooks, Finley Brooks, Bryce Ferrell, Chloe Ferrell, Aiden Norman, Ruby Norman; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Leta was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Franklin Adams and Irma Elizabeth Johnson; daughter, Nancy Brooks; son, Steve Thomas; sister, Aileen Gillespie; brother, Alvin Adams.
Contributions in memory can be directed to Parkway Baptist Church for the Operation Christmas Child Ministry, or you can visit the Grace Funeral Home website at www.gracefuneralhome.net to plant a tree in honor of Leta.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Parkway Baptist Church, in Victoria, Texas.
