Letitia Angell Ayers, born on the 21st of January 1966, in Rocky Mount, VA, was not just an individual, but an unforgettable melody that played the sweetest tunes in the hearts of all who knew her. Letitia, funny and creative, with an unrivaled talent for music and an infectious love for life, passed away on the 13th of July, 2024. Her captivating personality and radiant spirit lit up the world around her and those privileged to have known her.
Born to parents Winston and Virginia Angell, Letitia grew up with an undeniable love for music. She had an unbreakable bond with her guitar, and her voice was a soothing balm, healing hearts and uplifting spirits. As an exceptionally talented musician, Letitia created an enchanting world of rhythm and harmony that transcended the ordinary. Her music was her life, and through it, she touched countless lives, leaving a lasting and endearing legacy.
Letitia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for the water was matched only by her love for gardening. She was as comfortable tending to her beautiful garden as she was swimming, often saying that both activities were akin to creating music – nurturing life and creating something beautiful. These hobbies, coupled with her endless love for laughter and storytelling, made her a delightful companion.
Her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds. She was their cheerleader, their confidante, and their greatest support. Her unwavering love and dedication, coupled with her infectious humor, made her the heartbeat of her family.
In celebrating Letitia's life, we invite you to share your memories and photos of her on the memorial page. As we remember Letitia, let us not forget the love she had for life, the joy she found in music, and the happiness she brought to all those around her. Letitia may have played her final note, but her melody will forever echo in our hearts.
