Levi McDonald McClintic died peacefully, at home, on April 11, 2025, in Williamsburg, West Virginia, at the age of 91 with his wife of 67 years by his side.
Levi was born on March 3, 1934 in Sunlight, West Virginia to Aena and Bunyan McClintic. He was a graduate of Frankford High School. He attended Potomac State College and West Virginia University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Mechanics in 1957. Levi served in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia and Germany during his two years of active service, 1957 – 1959.He was an inspector for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture until he retired in 1992.
Levi demonstrated unwavering dedication to his family and farm. His grit and determination were unmatched even through his last days. He and Ramona enjoyed many years supporting their grandchildren by attending various activities and events. Taking trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee was a beloved family tradition. His legacy will live on in the many hearts that loved him dearly.
Left to cherish Levi's memory are his wife, Ramona of Williamsburg; children, Kenny of Horner, West Virginia, Sharon (Charlie) Wiseman of Hardy, Virginia, Lori (Greg) Quick of Williamsburg, West Virginia, Angie Eaton of Spring Creek, West Virginia, Andrea (Stephen) Deskins of Williamsburg, WV; daughter-in-law, Kay Shirey; grandchildren, Travis (Jessie), Christopher (Bridget), Elise (Corey), Hannah (Josh), Kaitlin (James), Ali, Levi, Kamryn, Andrew, Lauren; great grandchildren, Marleigh, Paizley, Kathryn, Raylee, Ella, Alaina; siblings, Gay Reynolds, Bedford (Patricia) McClintic, Bob (Jane) McClintic, and Jerry (Sara) McClintic; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Ann McClintic, Tommy McClintic, Dora McClintic and brother-in-law, Dave Anderson, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bunyan and Aena McClintic; siblings, Patrick McClintic, Alan McClintic, JoAn Anderson, Wayne McClintic; brother-in-law, Bill Reynolds and son-in-law, Eric Eaton.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 16th in
Lewisburg, West Virginia. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at Rosewood Cemetery.
