Levi Stephens, Jr. age 80 years, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Harrodsburg Health and Rehabilitation in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
He was born August 12, 1944 the son of the late Levi and Tilda Elizabeth (Matthews) Stephens. Levi had worked as a heavy equipment operator and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Necessary) Stephens; son, Richard “Rickey” Stephens; daughter, Melissa Stephens; brother, Marion Bonnie Stephens; and sisters, Ruth Stephens and Oneida Miller.
Survivors include his son Michael “Mickey” Stephens; daughter, Kari Carden (Ron); brothers, Charles Ridener of Indiana and Fred Stephens of Ohio; sisters, Rosetta Gregory of Ohio, Shelby Jean Collett of Harlan, Kentucky, Phyllis Geneva Stephens of Danville, Kentucky, and Betty Sue Patton of Alexander City, Alabama; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
A private burial was held at Phillips Cemetery.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
