Lewis John Perrotti, 89, a longtime resident of Hopewell Junction, died on November 24, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in New Rochelle on December 9, 1935, he was the son of the late Louis Leonard and Jeanette (Aubel) Perrotti.

Lewis had been a parishioner of St. Columba Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a fan of car racing, whether in person or on tv, car shows and all forms of motor sports. Lew appreciated wildlife, but most of all he enjoyed sitting with a cup of McDonalds coffee and an apple pie to watch the eagles and their eaglets on the waterfront at Bodwin Park. His true joy in life was spending time with his family and friends.

On November 18, 1956 at St. Denis Church, Lewis married the love of his life Patricia McGrath who predeceased him on September 26, 2014. He was also predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Wilkin and recently his oldest daughter, Sheryl Lee Perrotti on June 8, 2025.

Lewis is survived by his children, Sally Ingalls, Kristine Perrotti -Floyd and her husband Darren, and Lewis Perrotti Jr. and his wife Lauren; his grandchildren, Courtney Adams, Chelsey Mills, Keylee Floyd, Ryan Perrotti and Aiden Slensby; and five great-grandchildren, Colton, Elliott, Carsen, Chanlar and Lincoln. Lew was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 6 from 1:30 -3: 00pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 3pm.
