Rose Perrotti Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home - Wilmington on Nov. 26, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Rose Marie Perrotti was born on October 10, 1940, and entered Heaven on November 23, 2025. Born and raised in Wilmington, she worked tirelessly throughout her life to support and provide for her family. Rose loved her husband, her children and her grandchildren beyond words. As a grandmother, her outings with her grandchildren were legendary, as was the work she did on each grandchild's photo albums and journals. She was a faithful friend and a trusted helper to countless neighbors and causes that were near to her heart. Rose never sought attention for any act of kindness... and is undoubtedly annoyed with even this concise obituary!

Rose was predeceased by her mother, Marie T. McCann, her infant brother James, her parents-in-law Joseph and Mildred Perrotti, and lifelong friend Carolyn Sutton. Rose is survived by her husband of 67 years, Guy Francis, her son Guy Joseph and wife Donna, her daughter Gwen Looby and husband Neil, and grandchildren Gabrielle Perrotti, Erin Lynch and husband Adam, and Kyle Looby. Her grandchildren were Ro-Ro's angels and her greatest joy. Rose is also survived by brother Patrick McCann, his wife Millie and their family, by brother-in-law Joseph Perrotti, and by lifelong friend Judy Candeloro.

Rose stubbornly fought numerous health issues over the past ten years with her husband Guy constantly at her side as partner and caretaker, neither of them ever wavering in their lifelong commitment to each other. We are so thankful for their example.

A funeral Mass will be held for Rose at St. Peter's Cathedral in Wilmington on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by visitation at 9:30 a.m.

To honor and remember Rose, donations may be made to St. Peter's Cathedral or to Birthright of Delaware.
