Lewis Walters Obituary
Elbert Lewis Walters, a resident of the Graham community passed away Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 in Okmulgee at the age of 89
He was born January 3rd, 1936 in Okemah to Henry and Zelma (Moffitt) Walters.
He graduated from Graham High School in 1954. He was a faithful member of Dewar First Baptist Church. He married the love of his life, Rita Faye and was married 36 years until her passing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rita Faye, a very special friend, Marilyn Counterman, two sister, Ruby "Sis" Contreras, Ruth Ann Walters. Also by a brother, Roy Walters.
He is survived by a son, Derek Walters and wife Tina of Henryetta, a granddaughter, Madison Walters, a brother Charlie Walters and a sister Anita Wilhite.
Viewing for Lewis will be from 5 - 8 pm, Sunday, October 5th, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be Randy Benton, Brandon Benton, Vince Williams, Bradley Luellen, Rodney Luellen and Charlie Walters. Honorary pallbearers will Gary Smith, Larry Hall, Marty Williams, John Artussee, Larry Luellen, Larry Peavler and Roy Contreras.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6th, 2025 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
