Liam Sickles

Our beloved Liam Patrick Sickles, age 3, passed away on August 13, 2025. Though our time with Liam was far too short, he filled every day with joy, love, and laughter.

Liam was born on August 6, 2022 to parents, Michael and Katherine Sickles, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Right away, Liam had a special love for emergency and construction vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, and excavators, always pointing them out with bright eyes and excitement. Liam loved exploring everything around him and spending time with his big sister, Eliza, whom he adored. He loved playing outside, catching bugs, climbing trees and getting dirty. He would sing, dance, and laugh often and fill the room with joy. Whenever he smiled, you knew he was up to something.

Liam had the most boundless energy, sweet spirit, and tender heart. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents, Michael and Katherine; sister, Eliza; grandparents, Tom and Lisa McKarns, Mike and Michele Locke; Aunts and Uncles, Jack and Oliva McKarns, Will McKarns, Molli and Taylor King, Tyler and Erin Sickles; and so many other family and friends. Liam is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Patrick McDevitt and Todd Sickles.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4pm Saturday, August 23rd at First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor. 1432 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104
