Lida Sharp, 97, passed away October 28, 2024 at Eagle Lake. She was born in New Sweden, on March 2, 1927, one of 9 children born to Alfred and Lida (Meldrum) Anderson. Lida’s father moved the family and their appliance sales and service business to Caribou when she was very young. Lida was a 1944 graduate of Caribou High School and was employed as a book keeper at First National Bank for many years. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including Sharon Christie and husband John of Caribou and Lorraine Crandall of Texas. Lida was predeceased by her parents, six sisters, two brothers, her first husband Leonard Sharp and her second husband Edmond Picard. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Monday November 3, 2024 at the Riverside Extension Cemetery, Washburn, with Pastor Bud Fancy, officiating.
