Lieutenant Commander Ili Yaun, U.S. Navy, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on April 16, 1979, in Taiwan.
LCDR Yaun honorably served his country with dedication and distinction throughout his Air Force and naval career. His leadership, professionalism, and devotion to service left a lasting impact on all who served alongside him.
A burial service with full military honors will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery, Fort Sheridan, Illinois.
LCDR Yaun will be remembered for his commitment to his duty, his compassion toward others, and the deep pride he took in serving his country.
